Our Heartstart scheme is run by trained medical students.
Courses generally last around two hours and in a session you’ll learn about:
- dealing with an unconscious person
- the signs and symptoms of a heart attack
- recognising a cardiac arrest and performing CPR
- dealing with choking
- dealing with serious bleeding.
If you would like to attend a session at Hull York Medical School, please email the Heartstart Training Supervisor (contact details above), stating how many people will be attending, and whether you will be visiting the Hull or York site (we run training on both sites).
