Highlights from Tunnel of Love 2013

On Tuesday 12 November 2013 we hosted Tunnel of Love at One Mayfair, London. The event saw huge names from the worlds of fashion, art and music come together to support us in our Fight for Every Heartbeat.

Our third Tunnel of Love art and fashion dinner party, sponsored by jewellery and watch brand THOMAS SABO, attracted a host of high-profile faces all keen to support the fight against heart disease.

Celebrity supporters

Fashionable guests included Yasmin Le Bon, Alexa Chung, Daisy Lowe, Hugh Grant, Mollie King, Erin O’Connor.

Eliza Doolittle took to the stage, performing well known hits 'Walking on Water', ‘In Your Hands' and a cover of Mariah Carey’s 'Always be my Baby'.

Auction

Lord Dalmeny, Chairman of Sotheby’s UK, conducted the live auction which featured art from Sir Peter Blake, Dan Baldwin, Antony Micallef, Brad Faine and Humphrey Ocean.

Guests also had the chance to bid for a uniquely created gold and diamond heart pendant from THOMAS SABO, and their child to be a mascot at an England International Football match. Other auction lots included designer fashion from Alexander McQueen, Gieves & Hawkes, Timothy Everest, Michael Kors, Roland Mouret, VOGUE London, Christian Louboutin, Roger Vivier and Emma J Shipley.

There were celebrity donations from Paloma Faith, Olympian Louise Hazel, Alexa Chung, Eliza Doolittle and cyclist Andy Tennant.

After dinner guests partied and played games winning prizes from the Radley Roulette Wheel and THOMAS SABO.

Guests also had the chance to have their silhouette cut by Charles Burns, the same artist who cut the portrait of Her Majesty The Queen at her 80th birthday party.
