Gogglebox star Alex Michael will be raising the roof of Brighton’s Komedia with a comedy night to help support our life saving research and Raleigh International’s work with young people across local communities.
The Christmas Comedy Cracker will take place on Tuesday 20 December and will see nine comedians including Live at the Apollo star, Simon Evans and stars of Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Craig Campbell and Sean Collins come together to help raise money for charity.
Alex is supporting the BHF as her family has a long history of heart disease. Her father Andrew, who also appears on the Channel 4 programme, has suffered from several angina attacks and had a stent fitted in 2007 and her grandfather died of dilated cardiomyopathy when Alex was just two years old.
Exciting night of fundraising
Speaking ahead of the event, Alex said: “It’s been wonderful organising the Christmas Comedy Cracker and I’m really looking forward to seeing everything come together on the night. I'm so grateful to the comedians who are performing to help fill the Komedia with laughter!
“The money raised will help the BHF fund even more life saving research into heart and circulatory disease and Raleigh International continue its vital work bringing communities together across the world.”
Tickets are available now for this incredible night of fundraising and are priced at £10.
