Fundraising ideas for youth groups

Children selling lemonade at a stand

Running a fundraiser is a brilliant activity for all youth groups. Here are some of our top ideas for fundraising events for young people. Have fun and raise money for life saving research to help beat heartbreak forever.

Green fingers wear red

Weed or mow your neighbours’ gardens for a reasonable donation. Do a couple a weekend for a month.

Spin a yarn

Get an extra long skipping rope and Jump Rope for Heart. Every time someone gets caught by the rope they have to put in a donation, the size of which can be decided beforehand.

Cookie Monster

Make cookies and sell them! You know this one. Post pictures online of the best cookie, the big cookie, the most cookies made in one batch, and the cookie monster of the month.

Break the rules

This could be an event at your school, or at your club, such as brownies, cubs or scouts. Raise money by breaking the rules. Check out our how to guide to give you all the fun and playful details to get any group involved.

Have a dodgeball event with BHF branded dodgeballs. Every strike means a donation.

Stars in their eyes

Get yourself an all-star kit and host a sports day in a local park. Make it as fun as you want. You could have straight sprints and high jumps, or hoopla and throw the beanbag.
