As well as organising your own fundraising activities you can also join in with our fundraising campaigns to help raise even more money for our life saving research. Click on the Campaign titles below to find out more!
Our flagship fundraising campaign sees people across the country get together and 'reddy' for a day full of fundraising festivities.
Our high street charity shops sell a huge range of donated items, raising vital funds to help fight heart disease. So definitely don’t throw away any unwanted, good quality items. Your local BHF shop can use them. Every September we have a big stock drive campaign for our shops, Bag It. Beat It. You could run a donation drive at any time through the year, but September is a great time to build this into your calendar of activities.
On Saturday 29 September we mark World Heart Day with a national cash collection drive. Cash collections are easy to organise so this is a great one to get involved in.
As well as volunteering locally and fundraising as part of a group, you could always set yourself a personal challenge. Be it a sponsored bike ride or sitting in a bath of beans, we’re here to help with ideas and support you.
Thousands of lives could be saved every year if more people were confident about what to do when someone is having a cardiac arrest. That’s what Our Call Push Rescue training programme is about. In partnership with other organisations, schools and workplaces, we’re determined to make the UK a country where learning CPR and other lifesaving skills is a normal part of life. By getting a Call Push Rescue kit, doing the training and encouraging others in your community to do the same, you could save someone’s life.
