Take on London's marathon distance hike along the historic Thames Path, passing some of the capital's finest scenery and landmarks. There's full support & hospitality, with rest stops, free food and drink, and a celebration finish line.

Join us, and get fit for a fantastic journey from Southwark Park to Hampton Court through the world's greatest city!

The minimum age for this challenge is 14 years old and all 16s and under must be accompanied by an adult.

You will need to raise the minimum sponsorship amount above depending on your distance. We require 50% of your fundraising target 3 weeks before the challenge (21/05/2018) to secure your place, or you can choose to self-fund your challenge and raise as much as you can for us.

Please note these events are organised by Action Challenge. Participants raising funds for British Heart Foundation will be joined by others, raising money for different charities. Find out more on the Action Challenge website

Take a look at the challenge kit list for advice on what to wear on the day and what to bring with you.


When you sign up, you’ll receive a welcome pack that has everything you need to know about fundraising, including lots of fun ideas and helpful tips.

You will be required to raise 50% of your fundraising target three weeks before your challenge. The remaining 50% can be sent in up to four weeks after you’ve completed the challenge. We recommend you break your target into manageable chunks and create a plan to help you reach your goals.

Our experienced team are also full of inspirational ideas to boost your fundraising.


Online fundraising is a great way to get your family and friends involved in your fundraising. Let everyone know why you’re taking part and update your page with photos and videos and share your page on Facebook and Twitter.
