Event itinerary

We will start the morning off with registration and a hearty breakfast, followed by a health and safety briefing before we start the trek at approximately 7.15am. We will be covering 14 miles of undulating mountainous terrain, in a remote area of the Lake District. Together we will ascend over 1600m in a single day. That’s more ascent than Ben Nevis, the UK’s highest mountain!

Summiting 8 of the highest peaks in the lake District, Rossett Pike (651m), Allen Crags (784m), Ill Crag (930m), Broad Crag (934m), Scafell Pike (978m), Great End (907m), Esk Pike (885m), and Bowfell (903m). Don't worry if you can't manage all 8 Peaks, we will have different groups depending on your fitness level.

After completing the peaks, we will begin our descend back down to the Sticklebarn for a celebratory hot meal. This is a great time to reflect on the day, socialise with your group and take in the last bit of scenery.
