The Guildhall, London

The Beating Hearts Ball 2018 is the BHF's new fundraising gala dinner. This year, the Ball offered guests a wonderful evening whilst raising vital funds for our life-saving research into heart and circulatory disease. The evening looked to raise awareness of inherited heart conditions with some of the money raised going towards the Miles Frost Fund.

The Beating Hearts Ball raised £285,875 on the night plus a £70,000 anonymous donation for The Mile Frost fund, bringing our total to £355,875.

When: Tuesday 20 February 2018

Where: The Guildhall, London

The Beating Hearts Ball was held at the historic Guildhall on Tuesday 20 February 2018. The evening began with a drinks and canapés reception followed by a sumptuous three-course dinner with wine, served in the majestic Great Hall. During the event there was live music, entertainment and an array of fundraising activities, including a luxury raffle and auctions featuring very special items.

Right now there are more than half a million people in the UK at risk of sudden death or developing heart disease because of an inherited heart-related condition. The Beating Hearts Ball aimed to raise awareness of these silent killers and generate much needed funds to research methods for earlier diagnosis, treatments and funds. All money raised through our Silent and Live Auction and on the night will go towards live-saving research into heart and circulatory disease with some of the funds going directly to support the Miles Frost Fund.
