Fundraising at work

Workers getting involved with fundraising

Fundraising at work boosts team morale and raises your social responsibility profile in the local community and industries in which you operate.

Workplace fundraising ideas

Our work simply couldn’t happen without the support of the generous teams in businesses and organisations across the country.

We’ve created some simple and fun ideas to get your colleagues involved in raising money:

Help children like Hannah

Hannah and her BHF nurse, Mary

Hannah, now six years old, is one of around 4,600 babies born with congenital heart disease each year in the UK. She was diagnosed at just seven weeks old and endured many surgeries in the first five years year of her life and will need more in the future. Thankfully Hannah had Mary, a BHF Nurse who helped Hannah’s parents understand her complex condition and supported them through those frightening months.

Hannah's mum Helen said, ‘We were shell-shocked. I was trying to keep myself and my family going, as well as being there for my baby girl. Mary gave us the courage to keep on going. She was positive, honest and hopeful about Hannah’s condition.’

Your fundraising could help us fund more hours of precious specialist nursing care to help children like Hannah. Heart patients benefit greatly from expert nursing care at home. It improves their quality of life and decreases their admissions to hospitals. Just £26 could provide an hour of specialist care from a BHF Heart Nurse to improve the physical and emotional health of heart patients and their families.
