Fundraise in your community

You can get involved by joining your local fundraising group, starting a new group or volunteering independently.

Community fundraising is a great way to meet new people, have fun and get out and about in your local community.

You will help raise awareness of heart disease in your local community and importantly support our life saving research.

Fundraising groups

  • Run events in your community and meet new people
  • Support schools and businesses
  • Organise collections
  • Join an existing group or start your own
  • Be innovative!

Individual fundraising

  • Support fundraising events at local schools and youth clubs
  • Speak at community events
  • Organise collections
  • Look after donations made in memory of friends or loved ones
  • Be creative!

"We try and do anything to help in the local area. We were involved in helping to organise a BHF Ball in October last year which raised in excess of £8,000.

"If it hadn't been for the research of the BHF we wouldn't have seen our son grow up into the healthy man he is now."
