Stuart Terry, a volunteer driver, explains what motivates him to drive and save lives:

"Volunteering gives me satisfaction. My typical day is going around doing house collections and book bags. I had a very dear friend that had a heart attack a few years ago, which is why I got involved for the British Heart Foundation.

"Volunteering as a driver means you’re outside a lot and I’ve always liked working outside. Being a volunteer has its advantages, you get tea and biscuits when you drop off the bags at the store."
