How patients can help develop NICE guidance
The National Institute for Care and Excellence (NICE) have written a new proposal outlining how they plan to involve patients in their organisation. To ensure it best meets the needs of patients they want to know your views.
The proposal outlines a number of changes including:
- involving people earlier in the process and keeping them informed throughout
- recruiting a wide range of people with experiences of a variety of conditions and services
- standardising the way they involve people in their guidance and standards programmes
If you're interested in finding out more and getting involved, read their proposal and share your thoughts with NICE by 28 February 2017.
