This summer take on a cycling challenge with a difference. Get your friends together and take on the virtual Ride2Rio cycling challenge.

We’re asking teams of six to cover the 6,000 miles from London to Rio over five weeks whilst raising money for our life saving research.

To help you get there, every pound you raise will be another mile added to your total. So the more you raise the easier your challenge will become.

Starting on July 17, you’ll have until August 21 to log your miles and raise money, whilst tracking your progress to see if your team can complete this epic virtual route from London to Rio. So whether you decide to cycle the whole route, or combine cycling with fundraising, every wheel turned and pound raised will get you and your team across the finish line.

Every three minutes another UK family loses a loved one to heart disease. But we’re fighting back. Your donations will power our life saving work. So help us keep families together.

More about Ride2Rio

This challenge is hosted by EverydayHero. When you sign up, you'll be asked to set up your EverydayHero fundraising page, which can be linked to your Strava or MapMyRide app, allowing you to track your progress to Rio.

You'll then have the option to create a team or join an existing team, and if you’re creating a team you’ll be sent some team captain tips to help get you started.

Once you're ready to go, share your page with your friends and family to help raise money for our life saving research. Every penny and mile counts.

Win some awesome prizes

There are some great prizes up for grabs too for the first team to finish, the highest individual fundraiser and the greatest elevation gained. So there's no time to lose. Sign up now and get ready to start your Ride2Rio.
