Whether you’re a seasoned trekker or you're trying TrekFest for the first time, there is a route to suit you. Choose your own distance:

    25k route

Stunning scenery, fantastic atmosphere and great trekking but avoiding the major climbs – suitable for those who enjoy walking but haven’t taken part in an event before, this is a great introduction to challenge trekking with the choice to go further next time.

    50k route

For more seasoned trekkers who want to push themselves that little bit further; incorporates a tough climb then finishes on more forgiving terrain – a route to challenge yourself and take you up to the next level.

The 50k route also includes an addtional hot meal on route.

    75k route

A tough trek, you need to put in some serious training in order to tackle the hard climbs and unforgiving terrain that this route provides. This is a route for those who really want to push themselves on a challenge to remember.

The 75k route also includes, an additional hot meal and hot snack on the route and a bag transfer service from the TrekFest village to a checkpoint along the way.

    100k route

This is tough… very tough. It hurts; it will push you; there are moments when you will doubt yourself, but you can and will succeed with the right physical training and mental preparation – a route for those want to push themselves, not just up to, but over their limits.

The 100k route also includes, two additional hot meals on the route and a bag transfer service from the TrekFest village to a checkpoint along the way

    The TrekFest Village

All of the above routes will start and finish at ‘The TrekFest village’, where there will be facilities available such as camping plots, showers, toilets and good food. Come along and camp for the weekend and join us for a BBQ on the Friday night. Bring your friends and family and make a weekend of it!

Costs and details for camping will be sent to you closer to the event.

Plan your training with expert tips and advice in our walking training zone.
