Uttoxeter Racecourse, Staffordshire
Head to Uttoxeter Racecourse this autumn and take on this exhilarating challenge and support our fight against heart disease. You'll be faced with some tough obstacles, lots and lots of mud, and some wet and slippery conditions, with 5k or 10K route to chose from. Organised by Uttoxeter Racecourse in support of the British Heart Foundation, you can take part on your own or with a team of friends or family and run to power lifesaving heart research.

Under 18s must use a paper registration form to enter, although please note that you must be at least 16 years of age in order to take part in this event.
There is a 5K and a 10K route to choose from, the registration cost is the same for both distances.
There are different ability options available on the 10K event - this is simply so that we can group you with runners of a similar pace in order to avoid congestion; the route will be the same for all options. Please refer to the on the day tab for more information.
If you set up a team, you will be emailed a link to forward onto your team mates - please ask them to follow this and sign up in order to be joined to your team. Please also ensure that all participants enter the same difficulty as yourself.

Location and travel
Free parking will be available at the Racecourse, the car park opens from 07:00.
The nearest train station is Uttoxeter, which is located next to the Racecourse.

Make sure you have the right kit
Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for a running event. Trainers and ventilated tops are recommended - you will be given an event t-shirt on the day. Take a look at our recommended running kit list
for what to wear on the day and what to bring with you. You'll receive your participant number and chip in the post just before the event.

Extreme Stampede - Start Times

The route will close at 4pm.
Please note that all 10K runners will take on the same route. The difficulty levels are merely to group people with similar intended times together in order to avoid congestion on the route.
The 10K is two laps of the 5K circuit
You will receive a safety briefing upon arrival and the course is fully marshalled for your safety, with first aid support provided.
This event is not suitable for wheelchair users or runners with electronic hearing devices. Participants with existing medical conditions should consult their doctor before registering.
The will be changing facilities and a baggage store available on the day.
Spectators are welcome but are advised to be prepared for wet and muddy conditions.
Guide dogs and well behaved dogs are allowed but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.
