Legacy events

If you'd like to find out more about leaving a gift in your Will we'd love to meet you at one of our legacy events.

These events are a really great opportunity for our supporters who may be thinking of leaving a gift to find out just how important they are to the British Heart Foundation (BHF).

On the day

You'll be able to find out more about us, what we are doing in your local area, the importance of gifts in Wills, as well as hear from our amazing researchers funded by your donations.

At previous events, we have heard about BHF-funded research into areas like identifying the plaques that cause heart attacks, known and unknown effects of statin therapy, understanding genetic causes of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), to how the humble fruit fly can help understand heart function and arrhythmias.

Our speakers kindly share their achievements to date and really help demonstrate how a gift in your Will could help fund the life saving research of the future.

Guests can also enjoy chatting with staff and volunteers from the BHF and there’ll be an opportunity for us to answer any questions you may have on the day.
