Accelerating the translation of research
Current BHF award holders can apply for funding of up to £2,000 for either themselves or staff funded on the grant to attend a course to develop non-scientific skills they consider beneficial for translating their research.
The award has a broad remit and BHF will consider any course that the applicant can justify as beneficial to the translation of their research. For example, it could be used to develop project management skills or to learn how to undertake a market assessment.

- Only one application can be made per BHF grant.
The applicant must provide details of the course and an explanation of how it will benefit the translation of their research.
