Take part in one of the UK's most beautiful running events and help us beat heartbreak forever. Choose from 13.1 miles, 10K or 2K with the spectacular Blenheim Palace as your backdrop
The Half Marathon and 10K offer tough courses with plenty of hills thrown in, however the stunning scenery and impressive finish in front of the Palace will help get you through.
The 2K Family Fun Run is a chance to get the whole family involved. This scenic route takes you around the take to the finish line in front of the Palace. All Half Marathon and 10K runners get automatic entry into the 2K run.
Blenheim Palace Half Marathon, 10K and 2K Family Fun Run will take place on Sunday 29 September.
If you're under 18 you'll need to complete a digital entry form, and send back to us. All under 18's must be accompanied by an adult at all times during the event.
All spectators must buy a ticket from Blenheim Palace to give access to the Palace grounds. See information below.
All Half Marathon & 10K Runners will get automatic entry into the 2K Family Fun Run.

All spectators must purchase a spectator tickets from Blenheim Palace in order to access Palace grounds, use code BHFS2019 to to save 30% ticket price until 22 September. This offer also applies to Annual Passes if they choose to donate their Park and Gardens admission. Any spectators that hold a Blenheim annual pass do not need to purchase a spectator ticket.

Getting there by car
Blenheim Palace is a 20-minute drive from Oxford on the edge of Woodstock; about an hour and a half from London and Birmingham.
There is plenty of free parking at the palace. To avoid queues and congestion, please allow at least one hour to arrive and park at the Palace as there will be several thousand runners arriving at the same time.
Follow the British Heart Foundation event car parking signs on arrival to Woodstock.
- Before 9.30am: If you are approaching the Palace on the A44 from the south please use the main visitor gate. If you are travelling on the A44 from the north please use the Woodstock gate.
- After 9.30am: All entry into the Palace grounds will use the main entrance on the A44. When leaving please follow the exit signs to leave through the Lower Park, the usual exit point.
Getting there by bus
There will be public buses available from Oxford centre. Please check the Stagecoach website for information on times.

We ask that you raise £10 for every mile you'll accomplish. The minimum sponsorship target is £130 for the Half Marathon, and £60 for the 10K
We're really excited to be working with the running coaching company, Full Potential on helping you prepare for the Blenheim Palace Half Marathon & 10K. In video 1, trainer Keith looks at how to get ready for your challenge and look at areas of training and nutrition to focus on. In video 2 Keith talks over the key sessions within the training plans.

If family or friends are coming to support you on the day, they'll need to purchase spectator tickets from Blenheim Palace. Available until 22nd September spectators can save 30% on tickets. We've listened to your feedback and have changed times for the Half Marathon and 10k. This is to avoid congestion on the course and make your event experience more enjoyable.

Do give yourself plenty of time to travel, park and arrive at the event village, as routes into Blenheim Palace will be busy on event day. Please be patient arriving and departing the venue, and follow the advice of traffic management marshals at all times.
There will be:
- Toilets at the start and finish and along the route.
- Water at the finish line and the water stops (located at 3 mile intervals along the half marathon route and at the 5K mark of the 10K route)
- A luggage store in the Event Village
- Changing facilities in the Event Village.
- Plenty of catering outlets on site.
- Sports massages
The route is on tarmac and ideal for participants in wheelchairs. Please contact us in advance to arrange easy access to the start line.
There will be marshals, first aiders and support along the routes.
Spectators and pets
If you have anyone coming to support you on the day they will need to purchase an entry ticket in order to access the grounds of Blenheim Palace. More details coming soon
Dogs are not allowed on the route but are welcome to accompany spectators, and must be kept on a lead at all times.
