Pippa feels passionately about raising awareness of the risks of heart disease amongst women and importantly how they can be reduced.

“I was shocked to learn that nearly three times more women die from coronary heart disease than breast cancer." Pippa explained.

Taking on a challenge

In June 2014, Pippa took to her bike over in the US to take on the epic 3,000-mile Race Across America cycling challenge. Alongside her brother and six friends, Pippa conquered the ride across 12 states and 88 counties in just eight days in a bid to raise funds for our life saving research.

Pippa has since gone on to actively take part in numerous other challenges to raise money for us. On completion of her epic challenges, Pippa donated her signed bespoke bike, which was sold on our eBay site and raised over £3,000.

In January 2015, Pippa launched the 40th anniversary of our historic London to Brighton bike ride. Pippa and her team completed the ride in 4 hours.

Fundraising for us

In order to help boost fundraising for the London to Brighton bike ride, Pippa collaborated with London fashion designer Tabitha Webb in June 2015 to create an exclusive floral tea dress and scarf to help raise money for our life saving research ahead of completing the London to Brighton bike ride.

Pippa also attended our February event Roll out the Red in 2016, where she welcomed host for the evening singer Mollie King.
