Please sponsor me for the London to Brighton Bike ride in aid of the British Heart Foundation! I love doing this event as it has such a great atmosphere and it's for a good cause! It's quite a challenging 54 miles of pure fun, cycling and energy. What more could anyone want on a hot summers day! (I hope!)

I did this event last year and struggled a bit at the big hills... especially the beacon at the end. This time I plan on cycling all the way up all the hills... no walking!

The charity is the British Heart Foundation, for more detail have a look on their website www.bhf.org.uk. They are looking to fund further research and help cut the number of premature deaths due to heart failure and heart disease. My grandfather (on my father's side of the family) died due to a combination of pneumonia and heart failure and he lived a very healthy life, so it is a cause close to my own heart.
