Workshops are coming to a Waterstones near you!
Ordnance Survey, sponsors of British Heart
Foundation (BHF) Walks and Hikes has teamed up with Waterstones to
bring a series of FREE map reading and navigation
workshops to stores across the country. If you don’t know
your hills from your hillocks or want to know how to orientate your
map with a compass and improve your navigational skills, pop along
to one of the workshops listed below. All you need to do is turn up
on the day to participate!

The workshops are designed to help those with
little or no knowledge of map reading and navigation learn the
skills required to get out into the great outdoors. The workshop
lasts about 45 minutes, and there will be an opportunity to ask any
questions before you take to the hills.
To help you with your new found skills all
participants of the workshops will receive a FREE guide to
map reading booklet to take home with them, plus,
Waterstones have a 3 maps for the price of 2 offer
