I feel angry at being restricted in what I can do

Bruce was only 30 when he had a heart attack.
Because of the damage to his heart he now lives with severe heart
failure.
He had a double heart bypass
in 1993, and another bypass two years later. Then in 2008 Bruce was
fitted with an ICD to detect problems
with his heart.
Although he has the support
of his family and a BHF heart failure
nurse, his condition is unlikely to improve and he
will always have to live with fatigue, breathlessness and angina.
Daily life can be a struggle.
"I feel angry at being restricted in what I can do. I was
an emotional wreck at what had happened and what was going to
happen: the unknown is scary."
