In the UK, someone has a heart attack every two minutes. You can help play a part in our fight against heart disease.
You could make a one-off or regular donation, buy from our catalogues or online shop or even leave a gift in your will. You can get involved as a volunteer in a BHF Shop, help with local fundraising events, or simply take part in one.
Regular giving
All donations are greatly appreciated, but supporting the BHF with a direct debit allows us to plan for the future and fund the next generation of research.

The BHF credit card
The BHF credit card is a simple and easy way for you to support the BHF without it costing you a penny extra. For every new account opened MBNA will make an initial minimum contribution of £25 when the card is first used and 35p for every £100 you spend thereafter on card purchases. The British Heart Foundation Credit Card is issued by MBNA Europe Bank Limited, Registered Office: Stansfield House, Chester Business Park, Chester CH4 9QQ. Registered in England number 2783251. Credit is available, subject to status, only to UK residents aged 18 or over. We will monitor or record some phone calls. MBNA is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
Subscribe to Candis
You can support the BHF while enjoying a good read if you take out a subscription to Candis. Visit candis.co.uk and every time someone subscribes, Candis donates £10 to the BHF.

Be a volunteer

Shop with the BHF
Take good quality donations to your local BHF shop. You can also donate money over the counter. Check for BHF shops in your area on our website: bhf.org.uk/area or look in Yellow Pages.
Shops also need more volunteers. As well as being a practical way to help the BHF fight heart disease, volunteering is also great fun and offers plenty of opportunities to learn new skills and make new friends. To shop with BHF or offer your help, call in at your local high street BHF shop or call 0870 120 4141 to be connected to your nearest BHF store.
