Campaigning Heart Support
Groups
Heart Support Groups have a vital role to play
in the success of the National Campaign for Cardiac
Rehabilitation.
Great progress has been made a national level
in highlighting the shortfall in cardiac rehabilitation
provision. But turning that into real change in your local
area requires local action.
That is why we are encouraging Heart Support Groups to take up
the fight for better cardiac rehab in their local area.

Your group can join the campaign
During the next phase of the campaign, we want to build on these
successes. If your group would like to get involved, this is
what you need to do:
- Decide who your group's Campaign Contact will
be. This person needs to have internet and email
access. They will then become the main contact for
communications about the campaign between your group and the BHF
Campaign team.
- That person then needs to sign your group up to the campaign by
clicking on the 'sign up' button below. If your group would
prefer to have two or three people sign up as a
Campaign Contact, that is fine too.
- Your Group's Campaign Contact
will receive campaign materials and news updates. They
will also be able to request support and advice from the BHF
campaign team.

Success stories
Over the last year, a number of groups have done some excellent
work in fighting for rehab in their area. Read the case studies
below for examples of how.
