Margaret Jackson, 55,
from Biggleswade, Bedfordshire.
When Margaret remarried she wanted her and her new husband to keep fit together. She persuaded him to take up ballroom dancing classes with her in the evening, and they haven't looked back since.
“This is a great way to keep fit for all ages and it's not expensive. Best of all we have a bit of a laugh too.”
Margaret says once bitten by the dancing bug, people keep coming back to the class term after term. She says it's great for improving self-esteem and it keeps people mentally alert too.
“The hardest thing was to start exercising but once you get going it gives you confidence to try other activities.”
Margaret also enjoys gardening, Pilates, swimming and 50+ exercise classes at her local gym.
