The BHF News Feed

Learn how to receive automatic updates when new stories are posted to our news feed.

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. RSS news feeds send you alerts when webpages have been updated, without you having to visit the website itself.

To use these feeds, you need to use a special piece of software called an RSS reader. These are programmers that automatically check selected websites for updated items, such as news headlines or podcasts.

What RSS feeds do you offer?

Our BHF News Feed allows you to receive all our latest news, expert comment on breaking news stories and key event and campaign dates to your diary.

You can see this feed to the right of your screen. Click on the orange button to access the feed. If you need to, you can copy the web-address (URL) of the feed from that page into your browser or RSS reader (see below).

How do I use RSS feeds?

There are many RSS reader programmes available, including the ones listed below:

Windows

Mac OSX

Web

Web Browsers with built-in RSS reader

Once you have a news reader you can begin subscribing to our news feed by looking for orange RSS buttons. You can click on the button to view an RSS feed directly, or drag the button or URL of the feed onto an area of the reader to subscribe.
