The BHF News Feed
Learn how to receive automatic updates when new stories are
posted to our news feed.
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. RSS
news feeds send you alerts when webpages have been updated, without
you having to visit the website itself.
To use these feeds, you need to use a special piece of software
called an RSS reader. These are programmers that
automatically check selected websites for updated items, such as
news headlines or podcasts.
What RSS feeds do you offer?
Our BHF News Feed allows you to receive all our
latest news, expert comment on
breaking news stories and key event and campaign dates to your
diary.
You can see this feed to the right of your screen. Click on the
orange button to access the feed. If you need to, you can copy the
web-address (URL) of the feed from that page into your browser or
RSS reader (see below).
How do I use RSS feeds?
There are many RSS reader programmes available, including the
ones listed below:
Windows
Mac OSX
Web
Web Browsers with built-in RSS reader
Once you have a news reader you can begin subscribing to our
news feed by looking for orange RSS buttons. You
can click on the button to view an RSS feed
directly, or drag the button or URL of the feed
onto an area of the reader to subscribe.
