Over two thirds of women admit they own clothes
that don’t suit them!
Over two thirds of women admit that they
own clothes that do not suit them – according to a study by our
Shops who are appealing for your lovely things and launching the
Great British Bag-athon this September.
The top offending items include shorts, low cut tops,
skinny jeans, and leggings.
When asked why they hang on to items
of clothes that don’t suit them, nearly half of the women
questioned admitted that they were waiting to lose weight so
they could fit into them again! With all these unloved
clothes sitting in the nation’s wardrobes, our Shops are offering the perfect solution this
September, with their appeal for unwanted things, the Great British Bag-athon.
We’re all guilty of hanging onto clothes
BHF
Retail Director, Mike Taylor, comments: “We’re all guilty of
hanging onto clothes that we’ve fallen out of love with, which is
why this September,
our Shops are
encouraging everyone to take part in the
Great British Bag-athon by filling a bag and
donating items that we know we’ll never wear again."
Getting involved in the Great British Bag-athon couldn’t be easier,
just fill up one bag or more this September. You
can even take on a challenge and set your own bag target! Anything
from 5, 10, 15 or more bags will make a huge difference
to our Shops – ask your friends and
family to get involved so you can reach your target.
