Give the gift of time this Christmas
The
festive period is the busiest time of the year for our shops,
we're appealing for volunteers to lend a hand and make a
real difference this Christmas.
Volunteers are
essential to the success of our
shops and play a vital part in the fight against heart disease.
Each Shop needs an extra 40 hours help per week over the
Christmas period, so any time you can spare will
be greatly appreciated.
We have over 700
clothing shops and Furniture & Electrical stores, so there
is a lot to do! Our shops have roles available to suit
everyone. From merchandising our large range of Christmas
gifts to selling Christmas cards; window dressing and helping with
the Christmas raffle, our clothing shops are keen to hear from
people who have a few hours to spare.
There are so many great opportunities available in our shops this Christmas
If
you’d prefer a more ‘hands on’ role this Christmas, our
Furniture & Electrical stores could
be the place for you. These
specialist stores are
keen to recruit warehouse assistants, electrical function testers,
stock generators, telephone operators and sales assistants.
Our Retail Director, Mike Taylor, said:
“The contribution our volunteers make is
extraordinary – we simply couldn’t run our shops without their
support. There are so many great opportunities
available in our shops this Christmas - I’d really like to
encourage people to make a huge difference by giving the gift of
time. Whether you can spare a couple of hours or a couple of days a
week, we’d love to hear from you. Your support is vital to us.”
