It could be for a problem with a heart valve, coronary arteries or a congenital condition.

Whatever the reason for your surgery, it can be a worrying time for you and your family.

After surgery you may attend a Cardiac Rehabilitation Programme. You can also find out more information from our Rehabilitation CD or cassette.
