Help a Heart Grants

Help a Heart GrantYou could get up to £1,500 to help fund a community heart health project.

If you have an idea for a project that could make a real difference to people living with a heart condition, then the BHF Help a Heart Grant is for you.

What projects are eligible?

We're looking for innovative ideas that will make people more informed about heart health. Perhaps you have a project that will help people to live a healthier lifestyle. Maybe you have an idea that will help relieve some of the stress and anxiety experienced by people with living with a heart condition.

Your project must be patient led. The more evidence of patient involvement and need you can provide, the stronger your application will be.

Projects previously awarded a grant include:

  • Activities that promote healthier lifestyles – stopping smoking, healthy eating and exercise.
  • Producing information for people where English is not their first language.
  • Setting up a local heart health information library.
