Hearty Lives Newham
Hearty Lives Newham is a major £1.5 million programme to improve

- provide a cardiac nurse to help heart patients in the
community, and two nurse educators to teach local people more about
heart health
- train children in schools throughout Newham in emergency life
saving skills so they can respond to emergencies in the home or
community
- help to get kids and young men more active through physical
activity initiatives
- provide heart health checks in community venues
- teach children in schools more about heart health
