Community resuscitation development officers (CRDO)
CRDOs plan a community resuscitation service
incorporating Chest Pain, Community Defibrillation and teaching CPR
in the community and schools.
They set out to empower, educate, train and support local
communities in heart health initiatives.
To date we have supported posts in Scotland, Northern
Ireland, the East of England and the East Midlands.

Pete Winson has been instrumental in the
development of community resuscitation in Nottinghamshire,
Derbyshire and Leicestershire.
Admired for his high standards of training and his work with
children with disabilities, he received an Excellent
Ambassador award for his work.
