Hearty Lives
Where you live in the UK has an effect on your chances
of having heart disease.
In some places, people living in one area can
be five times more likely to die from
heart disease than those living half a mile
away.
Hearty Lives is our £10 million UK-wide
programme to reduce these inequalities in heart disease.
Community needs
When it comes
to tackling heart disease, one programme does not fit all
communities, so we are working with local partners to make sure
that the programmes are available and tailored to those
who need them most.

and young people from taking up smoking
