Volunteer some time to
help save lives in Wales
Rhywun fel chi I'n helpu ni I arbed bywydau
Heart disease touches people of all ages. Far too many people
die prematurely from heart and circulatory disease. It is Wales'
biggest killer - responsible for over 12,000 deaths a
year - that's a staggering 33 people every
day.
The good news is that since 1994, the number of people dying
from Coronary Heart Disease in Wales has fallen, but those who
survive can find life frightening and difficult.
As the nation's heart charity, BHF Cymru, saves
lives every day by investing in pioneering research, supporting and
caring for heart patients and providing vital information to help
people reduce their own risk of dying prematurely from
heart-related disease.
Our work has touched the lives of so many people in Wales -
people like you. Please help us continue our work by
volunteering some time for BHF Cymru in your local
community.
John, Buddug and Jane are just three people who have done just
that. Read their stories below and find out how you
can help too.
