Walks 2009Due to great demand and the overwhelming success of the 2006 and 2007 treks, we are delighted to introduce two brand new itineraries for 2009.
Weight Watchers Walks for the BHF offer an exciting and unique way to set yourself a personal goal, while also raising money to help fund life-saving research into the causes and treatment of heart disease.
As Weight Watchers member, Vicki Ellis said on her return from the Southern Alps Trek in 2006.
“From the day I signed up, my whole life changed! I have become more positive about my weight and my body image and become healthier and fitter. I have made some fantastic friends and raised money for the BHF - I am so glad I took on the challenge!"
It can also have a very positive effect on Weight Watchers leaders too. Weight Watchers leader Debbie Elder said,
"What a fantastic experience! The fundraising, training and helping to spread the healthy lifestyle message in my meetings has really kept me motivated."
Once you've registered, both the BHF and Weight Watchers will be on hand to support you every step of the way.
We have a whole wealth of fundraising experience to share with you as well as a fundraising starter pack, and other practical materials that will help you raise the minimum sponsor money.
We will also advise you on the training you'll need to do in preparation for your departure.
