Come and join us at the 2009 York Santa Jog which is taking place on Sunday 13 December 2009

BBC Radio York are once again hosting the event.

Anyone can take part, dress up and have fun, regardless of age or ability, from toddlers to the elderly. The Santa Jog starts at 10.30am at the York City Rowing Club on the West Esplanade, York and will cover a distance of just 1 mile. Participants can complete the course in their own time and at a comfortable pace.

Entry fee is a minimum donation of 5.00 for adults, which includes a free adult size Santa Suit. Children under 16 can enter the jog for free but must be accompanied by a fee paying adult.

Children under 16 years old are encouraged to come in fancy dress and take part in the fancy dress competition. Fancy dress prizes so far include 2 Family Passes to the Ice Factor in York which is open from 14 Nov 2009 - 3 Jan 2010 – visit www.theicefactor.co.uk.
