Come enjoy an early Spring
day of cycling and help raise vital funds for the British Heart
Foundation (BHF) This is certainly a ride for everyone and anyone.
The
Route
A fun
3
mile family route designed
for all ages, and a fabulous
challenging 36 mile circular
route for the more experienced rider. The
family scramble
is a 3 mile circular route around Sherwood Pines that can be cycled one
or many times depending on the age of your children. It's an ideal
opportunity for
first time cyclists
to get involved. The
challenge route is 36 miles
and is a perfect mix of
skilful trails that
will take you through the leafy forests of
Sherwood Pines and Clumber
Park.
What
time does it start?
Start between 9.30a.m – 10.00a.m
Anything
else I need to know?
•Riders
under the age of 16 must
be accompanied
by an adult
over the age of 18.
•All riders must wear
appropriate footwear
and
outdoor
clothing for cycling at this
time of year.
•The route is
clearly marked with
checkpoints at regular intervals.
•
Free
water is available at
checkpoints and at the end.
•All participants will receive a
medal
at the end of the event.
Do
I have to raise sponsorship?
Your entry fee only covers the costs of running the event, we
rely on your sponsorship
to save lives. This is a
sponsored event and the BHF ask all participants to raise as much
sponsorship as they can to help the BHF save more lives in 2010.
The BHF is the nation's heart charity, dedicated to saving lives
through pioneering research, patient care, campaigning for change and
by providing vital equipment and information.
We
rely on donations of time and money to continue our life-saving work.
