Nearly 2500 riders turned up to support the British Heart Foundation at the Norwich Bike Ride on Sunday 7 June 2009. On a challenging blustery day participants beat all previous records by turning out in their droves, eager to set off on their 50 or 100 mile challenge.
Despite a drenching, riders kept their spirits high and were welcomed back to the finish in glorious sunshine to cheering crowds and a lively atmosphere.
So far the ride has brought in £57,000, however we are hoping to raise £63,000 so if you haven’t got your sponsorship money in yet, ask friends, family and colleagues to dig deep and help us fight heart disease.
