Sun, Sea and a 1K Swim – the perfect Summer's Day
Your chance to take to the sea with around 450 other swimmers in one of the most vibrant, colourful, cosmopolitan and energetic cities in the UK.
This year the Brighton Sea Swim is set to be the best ever – a truly fantastic Summer's day out.
It’s a perfect event to come to on your own, with friends, family, neighbours or why not get a team together from work? Get wet, have fun, complete a personal challenge and above all help the British Heart Foundation save lives with your sponsorship money.
Swimmers will be divided into three groups with timed starts from 9am to 11am.
Sharks - regularly swim in the sea. Able to complete distance in approximately 30 minutes.
Dolphins – regularly swim in a pool. Able to complete distance in under 50 minutes.
Seals – fun swimmers, who are in good health, able to swim and reasonably fit. Seals will have longer to complete their challenge.
Due to adverse weather conditions, this event may be cancelled at short notice. Please make sure we have your email address so we can inform you.
