help save the
life you love. There are lots of ways to get involved and
see what's going on
in your
area.
We couldn't fund our vital, pioneering,
life-saving heart research without you.
Last year we:
- invested over £41.9 million
for research in England alone.
- spent £1.6 million on equipment like ECG machines and defibrillators in hospitals and within local
communities.
- spent £4.73m was spent on
funding local Heart Nurses in
the UK.
- worked with a range of
partners in towns like Newham and Hull through our Hearty Lives project.
- organised local appeals to fund vital equipment and
BHF Heart Nurses.
Our local events include walks, cycle rides, jogs and
swims. These happen all year round so find an event near you.
Heart Towns
We're working with towns and cities across the UK to improve
their heart health. The Heart Towns - or Heart Cities - benefit
from our range of resources and education programmes, as well as
hosting special events and activities. Find
