through a successful marketing campaign and dedicated employee
fundraising.
Beating heart disease together
- Point of Sale - Colgate on-pack promotions ran in Boots stores
throughout February.
- Staff fundraising - Employees have taken part in our London to
Brighton bike ride dressed in red for our Wear Red Day during
National Heart Month and given away unwanted clothes and goods for
our Big Donation campaign.
- Cause Related Marketing - The partnership was promoted during
Oral Health Month in September 2008. Colgate donated 10p to us for
every old toothbrush donated and gave away new ones for
free.
Partnership impact
- The partnership has raised an impressive £300,000.
- Partnership competitions generated 154 pieces of press
coverage, including 4 National pieces.
- Colgate produced a joint partnership leaflet for Tesco Pharmacy
heart health goodie bags- raising awareness amongst a new
audience.
