Target the Heart art exhibition

My Other Half by Jennie HancoxContemporary Applied Arts and Electrum Gallery held a wonderful exhibition called Target the Heart during February and March, inspired by our Mending Broken Hearts Appeal.

Over 37 diverse and gifted artists came together to produce stunning original works; including jewellery, ceramics, glass, metal, furniture and textiles for a collaborative show with 'heart' at its core. We will receive 10% of the profits for our groundbreaking Mending Broken Hearts Appeal.

A competition took place where we selected the art that best represented the theme of 'mending broken hearts'. After much difficult deliberation, Michael Berger from Electrum Gallery and Ronald Pennell from Contemporary Applied Arts were chosen as the winners. See their work below:

Michael Berger - Meine Ruh ist hin Ronald Pennell - Angel Doctor Saving Hearts

In addition, Jo McAllister of Electrum Gallery produced a collaboratively made necklace based on the surrealist parlour game “Exquisite Corpse”, which will be auctioned at our fashion and art party Tunnel of Love on 29 May 2012.

Thank you
