Bikers 2For those who have just bought a bike to those who take lycra very seriously, there’s something here for everyone.

So enjoy reading, riding and remember to relax – a rest day after all is just as important as a training day.

Let's get physical

We've got training programmes for beginners, intermediates and experienced cyclists. There’s information on what kit you need and we've even answered some of your frequently asked questions.

Practice makes perfect

If you want to get a bit of practice in before the big event, why not get pedalling at your nearest Sky Ride Local? The rides are put on by our friends at British Cycling and are fun, friendly and free community bike rides that help you get out and explore your local area.

Sky Ride Locals are led by a British Cycling trained ride leader who can provide support and give you a few tips, whatever your age or ability. Rides vary in levels, from beginners to more experienced cyclists, so you can pick a level to suit your skills and enjoyment. Whatever level you choose, you'll be riding on safe routes, with your ride leaders. And if you haven't dusted off your bike for a while, they'll happily check it over for you. What better way to prepare for your big BHF event?

British Cycling Membership
