Get a BHF Charity Place
Apply online for a BHF Charity Place. Applications are assessed
on an individual basis and successful runners will be required to
pay a registration fee of £75 and commit to their fundraising
pledge. The application process closes on Friday 26 July and all
successful applicants will be notified via email in August.

Gain your place with the organisers directly (Own Place)
The Virgin Money London Marathon ballot has now closed. The
ballot results are announced in October. If you're successful
in the ballot, we'd be delighted to welcome you to the
Heart Runners team. You'll receive all the
benefits of a Charity Place runner but there's no fundraising
target - we simply ask you to raise as much as you can.

Important: By signing up as an Own Place runner
we will not provide a place in the event. You must have already
received your place and paid for your registration directly to the
Virgin Money London Marathon organisers'. If you successfully
gained a place via the ballot and have paid your entry registration
fee direct to the event organisers, you can join our team as an Own
Place runner.
