Starting in the heart of the city centre and finishing by the sea in South Shields, the atmosphere is unbeatable.

Want a place?

Complete our online form to apply for a Charity Place.You'll be asked why you would like to join the team and what fundraising pledge you can commit to. We only have a limited number of Charity Places so all applications will go through a selection process.

Successful applicants will be required to pay a £30 registration fee and commit to their fundraising pledge.

Already got a place?

If you've already secured your Own Place through the event organisers you can complete our online form to join the Heart Runners team and gain access to all of the same benefits as a charity place runner.

Important: By signing up as an Own Place runner we will not provide a place in the event. You must have already received your place and paid for your registration directly to the event organisers.

Right from the word go we are on hand to provide all the support you need, along with world class running coaches who are true experts in their field.

When it comes to the big day, teams of cheerers will help put a spring in your step and get you across that finish line! You’ll then be able to celebrate your achievement at our post race party.
