The captivating wilderness of the Sahara desert is a spectacular location for this trek. Vast unending sand dunes and desert oasis landscapes offer a harsh and extreme environment, but the rewarding remarkable scenery, star-encrusted skies and a fascinating culture make it all worthwhile.

World Experiences team are amazing! Thank you for your time and efforts before and during the trek

This stunning trek starts at Ouarzazate in Morocco and sets off into the wilderness of the desert, passing magnificent rock formations of Mdouar El Kbir to reach Lake Iriki.

After camping at Erg El Ghoul for the first night of this adventure, the trek heads deeper into the Saraha desert, each day exposing breathtaking landscapes.

Trekking in this remote area is a fascinating experience allowing a privileged insight into a world that has scarcely changed for centuries. After spending several days in the desert, you will feel removed from the pressures of everyday life.

The trek ends in the small village of Mahamid. Built near the river Draa that flows from the Atlas Mountains into the Sahara Desert this marks the border between Morocco and Algeria.

After completing the trek there is some free time to discover the sights and sounds of Marrakesh.
