Trek the highest peak on the African continent and one of the
largest free standing mountains in the world. Summit at sunrise on
this unforgettable challenge of a lifetime - Kilimanjaro is one of
Africa’s most magnificent sights.
This was the most fantastic experience and one which I will remember forever. It was really tough, but so rewarding to make it to the end knowing I had raised money for such a worthy cause
Join us in this
incredible experience of a lifetime and trek to the “Roof of
Africa”. Kilimanjaro stands at 5895m (19,335ft) and is almost 24
miles wide and 49 miles long. You will trek for 7 days through
cultivated farmlands and lush rainforest, pass through
the cloud level and across barren landscape to the snow-capped
twin summits.
You will climb Mount Kibo peak to reach the crater rim at
Gilman's Point in time to watch sunrise and take in the
overwhelming views of the African landscape from the summit.
This is your chance to embark on an exciting and unforgettable
adventure whilst raising vital funds for our pioneering
research into the causes and treatment of heart disease.
To climb Mount Kilimanjaro is the ultimate
challenge!
