Regular giving

Girl wearing red coat - British Heart FoundationA regular gift will help us to continue our fight against heart disease, as it allows us to plan ahead for our future projects.

By setting up a Direct Debit you can choose how much and how often you donate.

And before your first donation you'll be sent a letter of thanks, along with confirmation of your details and your Direct Debit Guarantee.

If you need to make any changes to your regular gift at any time we'll be happy to do this for you.

If you are a UK taxpayer, please remember to Gift Aid your donation to make it worth more to us, at no extra cost to you.

Give regularly through your salary

Payroll Giving, also known as Give As You Earn, is a simple way to make regular, tax-free donations to us.

Every time you're paid, your Payroll Department deducts the agreed amount and sends it to us. There's nothing more for you to do.

And your donation will be even bigger at no further cost to you, as the Government adds the tax on as an extra donation. So if you agree to give £5, if you are a basic rate tax payer you only pay £4 - the taxman makes up the remaining £1.

How do I donate?

Ask your Payroll Department whether your company offers the scheme. If they do, you need to decide how much you would like to give each time you are paid.

Can I set up Payroll Giving at my workplace?
