Our Glan Clwyd Branch
celebrated 25 years of fundraising in North Wales in 2009, where
they had a silver anniversary target of raising
£25,000, with many special events planned,
including a Heart Party.
The branch has over 25 active members – one for every year they
have been running!
Through the branch’s fundraising efforts,
local GP surgeries, leisure centres, ambulances and hospitals have
all benefitted by receiving ECG machines,
defibrillators and other
equipment.
In 2007/08 they raised £17,000 to help us in
our quest to beat heart disease.
