Get your adrenalin pumping on this exhilarating bike
ride along the lifeblood of Egypt, the
River Nile.
The adventure starts with a visit to one of the Seven
Wonders of the World , the awe-inspiring
Pyramids at Giza - Egypt's most visited
monument.
From here we travel to Luxor and then onto Esna
where the ride begins as we cycle south along the west bank of the
Nile towards Edfu.
Our route throughout the ride is one of contrasts from flat
to undulating, and from fertile green vegetation
to the yellow sand of the desert.
We will pass through Aswan, renowned for its
dams, which is Egypt 's southern-most city and is
beautifully situated on the east bank of the Nile.
The river is incredibly picturesque here as it
flows down from the dams around giant boulders and palm
studded islands.
During the ride we will also take in the magnificent temple
at Kom Ombo, as well visit
Luxor which is known for the greatest
concentration of monuments in the world, and the fascinating
Valley of the Kings where we will tour through
some of its famous ancient tombs.
The River Nile really will be our home for the week as each
night we will get our heads down on the boat that will follow us
down the river.
Join us on this monumental bike ride through
the enchanting land of one of the world's most ancient
civilisations.
